BDSM Class Spoiled by “Know It All” Doctor

“It was a great class,” Master Kim Livinstone, 48, said, “until doctor know it all shows up and starts telling people things about nerves and blood and infections. Blah blah blah. Always ruining our good time.”

Livinstone was not alone in her complaints. Most of the assembled kinksters who were there for a class on artistic cutting and scarfication found the doctor’s comments, “way off the mark” and “really upsetting.”

Dr. Sanjay Palo, a 43 year old neurosurgeon and longtime kinkster says he was just concerned about the misinformation that was being given out by the presenter.

“Just because he is a surgeon he thinks he knows something about cutting,” said presenter Mikey Sun.  “I’ve been doing this for ten years and no one has ever had a problem with me.  The whole sterilization thing is a myth.  You just wipe your knife down good with a wet rag and it is good enough.  The whole thing about using different blades for each person is a lie too.  He is probably getting a kickback from scalpel manufacturers.”

Sandy Berkowitz, 19, said “you can’t dispute anything Mikey says, so they have to bring in doctors and experts to make him sound bad.  That doctor guy is all facts and no personality.  I’ll let Mikey cut me however he wants.”

For Palo, the risks of infection, permanent injury and disease are enough to make him keep speaking about the topic.  “If they would just bring in someone who knows the real risks and the science, I’d be much happier.”

Palo has been warned twice by local dungeon owners to “keep his facts to himself.”  He maintains that proper safety training can substantially lower the risks and offered to teach a class on cutting and safety, but was told he wasn’t “famous enough in the BDSM community” and that he should instead take his class “back to the hospital, where it belongs.”
