This year’s meeting of the International BDSM Society resulted in some surprising additions and deletions to what is considered “acceptable activity” under the BDSM rubric.

The group, which is well known for its controversial pronouncements, has declared that “fuzzy pink handcuffs” are no longer acceptable under the B portion of the BDSM title.

“The just aren’t real bondage,” said Master James Ruby, 48. “We had to draw the line somewhere and that was it. Sure they are handcuffs, but the other stuff just puts them over the line.”

Mistress Elena, a lifestyle dominatrix agreed, “I saw of pair of these fuzzy handcuffs in Target. I mean, what the fuck? I know BDSM is going mainstream, but this is just unacceptable.”

Only one member, Kevin Kinley, a 24 yer old switch, disagreed with the ban on the fuzzy bondage item.

“I think we should pay more attention to the handcuff part, not so much the fuzziness or the color, but I got voted down. What can you do?”

Dungeon Monitors nationwide are being asked to conform to the new rules. However, in private play, the group concedes that nothing much can be done.

“It is all about education,” according to Master Ruby. “If people don’t know, then how can they avoid particular items?”
